Christians of Namirembe Diocese have today bid farewell to the outgoing Archbishop of the Church of Uganda His Grace The Most Rev. Stanley Ntagali and his family in a colourful thanksgiving and farewell service held at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
The Archbishop and his dear wife, family members also attended the first two English services and he was the main preacher. Archbishop Ntagali who was consecrated in 2012 will officially retire from active service next year in the month of march when he clocks 65 as per the constitution of the Province of the Church of Uganda. His now visiting all the 37 Dioceses in the Province biding farewell and his left with 27 Dioceses including his own of Kampala Diocese.
The service was highly attended and it attracted Christians of all walks of life. Therefore we thank all the Christians who managed to make it for appreciating the outstanding services of the Archbishop Ntagali. To God be the glory for the great things He has done through the Archbishop!
