The Rt. Rev. Moses Banja on 6th/05/2025 presided over the Induction & Installation of Ven. Canon Emmanuel Kenneth Ssewanyana in a colourful service held at the Archdeaconry headquarters at St. Marks Church of Uganda-Namatte.
The Bishop told the new Archdeacon that he has begun a new responsibility in the challenging world. He urged him to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and to always seek for his guidance.
Ven. Ssewanyana gave his 5 areas of focus durring his tenure of service which included;
- Preaching the gosple as the main priority.
- Children’s Church and Youth ministry because the existence of these 2 give an image of hope to the Church of today and tomorrow,
- To put Focus on the Teens Church because they need to understand themselves such that they don’t be misled by peer pressure.
- Family Ministry through encouraging marred fellowships.
- Starting up income generating projects throughout the Archdeaconry such that it increases finances and resources.
