Bishop Luwalira visited the museum of religion the first of its kind in Mengo Archdeaconry initiated in 2016 by Ven. John Gitta Kavuma. The Bishop during the guided tour by the Archdeacon was shown various historical items found in the museum. The Bishop was impressed by the standard of the museum and thanked the Archdeacon for the good work of preserving history about religion.
Inside the museum, you will find items such as the African shape stone brought by the missionaries in Africa in 1903, the remains of Namirembe Diocese built in 1915, timber used at the Altar of Namirembe Cathedral in 1915 and many others. The museum is a must visit for any Christian, researcher and scholar.
